I don't usually mind these kinds of games, I sit down and enjoy something like sea of thieves but in pulsar I just sit at my station and look at reddit until we run into an enemy ship.

Sure everyone has a role to play in ship combat but each individual role that isn't the pilot is just tedious. Pulsar: Lost Colony is a bold title, especially for an independent studio that formed it from a Kickstarter project. At the beginning of every voyage, the sectors of the galaxy are randomly generated. Coordination between your crewmembers is essential to survive the perils that await you. Ship combat isn't all that interesting either for a single person. What is PULSAR Lost Colony Team up to operate a starship and explore a randomized galaxy falling into chaos. No one wants to be the guys sitting out while one person is being Rambo but there's just not enough enemies to go around. The enemy density so far is so poor that any kind of altercation can be, and often is, dispatched by a single person. I'm wondering if maybe it's just because we're getting started and the game is trying to ease us in or is this game just not for me.

Trek across the galaxy, and discover what lies on its fringes. We are twenty hours in and we just go around doing every quest we come across, and it's all just so bland. Teleport down to the surfaces of alien planets, where you may face extreme environments and dangerous creatures.
